For those people who like to see what the project looked like from beginning to end.
These are are the upper arm armor plates I made for the Garo Master cosplay I made for Anime Banzai 2015. Multiple layers of paint were used and hole-punched pieces of 1/8" craft foam was used to replicate rivets. Elastic that was painted black was glued underneath the upper-most plate and the next bottom one. Then the entire piece was completely sealed with Mod Podge. The decorations were added via hot glue.
